Technical Project Manager

B-Line Medical is seeking a savvy Technical Project Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for planning, budgeting, and delivery of multiple varying-scale projects involving the installation of our products. This role serves as a positive example and strives to exceed expectations internally and externally. This position also includes leading the department in technical expertise with the ability to perform technical tasks.

What you will be doing:

  • Direct responsibility for managing the project stakeholders to meet all deliverables for each project before the 60 day honeymoon period ends
  • Utilize strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills to implement and execute multiple successful projects at one time
  • Develops communication and risk management plans for projects and communicates information in a succinct, timely, and organized manner
  • Participates in project planning and strategy for consulting proposals and future A/V turnkey implementations
  • Responds within 24 business hours to client communication
  • Create, manage, and execute successful project implementation plans for B-Line Medical and 3rd party vendors for large projects independently
  • Takes ownership of turnkey A/V projects with strong organizational and leadership skills becoming an expert in all aspects of each turnkey project
  • Strong understanding and ability to recite AV and IT documentation which includes proposals, statements of work, network diagrams, floor plans, equipment lists, and project plans
  • Ability to independently conduct site surveys for any size project to refine project scope and requirements without an integrator present
  • Facilitate status meetings and create timely, accurate project status reports to all stakeholders
  • Ability to create and read GANTT charts including B-Line Medical and 3rd party schedules for Prime projects
  • Proven ability to independently work with AV companies and IT departments to ensure site readiness to meet project requirements and scope without an integrator
  • Ability to perform full installations with 5 or less units in place of an integrator
  • Ability to help close out post-install product and technical items in place of an integrator
  • Makes improvements, solves problems, or takes corrective action when problems arise without requiring assistance
  • Transition satisfied clients to the Customer Relationship Management and Support teams
  • Familiarity with various types of contracts, techniques for contracting or procurement
  • Work directly with Finance staff to invoice for procure payments to/from client and other vendors as necessary
  • Administers and monitors expenditures to ensure cost-effective support of project and policies; assess financial condition of the project
  • Ability to meet our < 180 day SLA timeline within your control for all projects (doesn’t include third party delays)
  • Maintain 100% client satisfaction throughout projects

What we are looking for:

  • 7-10+ years Project Management experience
  • B.A./B.S. undergraduate degree (Project Management degree a plus but not necessary)
  • Holds a PMP certification or another similar third party certification
  • Holds an IT or AV certification(s)
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Experience using Basecamp
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates superior “customers first” core value in all communication
  • Possess and demonstrates all other company core values
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with excellent detail
  • Strong foundation of accounting and billing schedules
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and exceed project expectations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously without delaying progress advancement of project
  • Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks
  • Requires no follow up from AV company, client, or manager on responses
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT technical (including LDAP) and AV knowledge
  • Travel to client sites (up to 60%)
