Mid-West Sales Consultant

B-Line Medical is seeking an experienced Sales Consultant for our Midwest region. The Sales Consultant is responsible for managing sales activities throughout every stage of the sales cycle. 

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the sales of SimCapture(R), for simulated environments, and LiveCapture(R), for clinical environments within the Midwest region. 
  • Responsible for building strong relationships within the Midwest region to include but not limited to educational institutions, hospitals, and health system networks.
  • Demonstrate a functional and technical understanding of B-Line Medical product line and related audiovisual, medical education, and hospital technologies.
  • Clearly articulate technology and product positioning to clinical and medical education stakeholders.
  • Offer business insights to the Regional Sales Manager and VP of Sales and assist in the annual business plan.
  • Develop a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Deliver web-based and onsite presentations to audiences of varying sizes and professions
  • Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with Medical Education and Patient Safety Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Using the company CRM system, create, submit, and modify quotes based on client feedback 
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale, resulting in the taking of market share from competitors.
  • Sell consultative and make recommendations to prospects and clients with respect to solutions the company offers.
  • Exhibit at industry conferences and special events.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities through weekly reports and the use of a CRM tool.
  • Create and add at least 5 Opportunities to Salesforce each month
  • Attend at least 10 on-site pitches/meetings each month
  • Receive all required vaccinations to gain access to the client site (if required by client)

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years professional experience
  • Experience with web-based productivity tools
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, or related degree strongly preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus
  • Software & AV Experience is highly desired
  • Existing contacts within the Medical Education and Patient Safety industries is strongly preferred
  • Midwest territory:Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ontario
